No-Petroleum Lip Gloss

Did you know that using petroleum based lip glosses like those commonly found in drug and grocery stores can actually cause dry lips to become worse? Opt for spending just a little time in your kitchen and producing a lip gloss that truely does the trick - and lots of it. Your lips will thank you as well as your pocketbook!

Ingredients

2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 tablespoon cocoa butter
2 teaspoons grated beeswax
10 drops avocado oil
Few drops of vitamin E oil.

Directions Melt the coconut oil, cocoa butter, and beeswax in a double boiler or over hot water. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Stir in the avodado oil and vitamin E oil.

Pour the balm into a clean container or purse size small tins (I save my purchased tins and re-use them.) Seal the container once the lip balm has cooled and solidified.
